Daniella Levine-Cava will receive the 2024 VIRTUS Connectivity Leadership Award.

A cornerstone of this integration is Miami International Airport (MIA), the leading economic engine for Miami-Dade County and Florida, generating $31.9 billion in annual business revenue. MIA’s recently upgrade on S & P’s credit rating reflects its emergence as one of the fastest growing and best managed airports in the country. In addition, MIA stands as one of the world’s most innovative airports, enhancing the passenger journey through initiatives such as myMIAccess, which offers a dedicated online platform for accessibility services and amenities. Furthermore, MIA is undertaking the largest energy conservation project in Florida’s history, reflecting its commitment to sustainability in alignment with Miami-Dade County’s Climate Action Strategy.
PortMiami, another vital asset under her leadership, continues to thrive as one of the world’s leading ports for both cargo and cruise industries. It plays a crucial role in international trade and tourism, reinforcing Miami’s position as a gateway for commerce between the Americas and the world. Her efforts in supporting and developing PortMiami have further solidified its status as a key link in the global supply chain. She will be accepting this award on behalf of Miami-Dade County, recognizing her exceptional leadership and the profound impact she has made in fostering integration and cooperation between Miami and the region.
